We cannot thank Jo and Patrick, BoHo Cornwall and everyone enough who put the word ‘special’ into our most perfect wedding day! From the moment we had our first call to the day we met Jo on our wedding day, it felt like we had known her for years. Jo and Patrick made us feel at ease instantly, and knew exactly the type of pictures we wanted to capture. They took us to the best spots in Cornwall and we cannot stop looking at all of our beautiful photos! We cannot believe they are our wedding pictures. They are everything we wished for and more!
We decided to elope for a few reasons. There are a few families members we have lost over the years who would have been actively absent on our day, and we wanted a relaxing day where it was about us and no one else mattered. In essence we wanted to shut the world out and that is exactly what we did. Being country people in our hearts ourselves and having visited Cornwall before, we fell in love with the dramatic countryside and beautiful views, so when we decided to elope there was nowhere else we wanted to go.
From the moment we arrived at Boho we knew we made the right decision. Tom and Maya gave us the most warming welcome and were a special part of our day. Ione did my hair and make up to perfection, and Clare at Cornish Cutting Garden made me the most beautiful bouquet!
After our perfect intimate ceremony, we spent time with Jo and Patrick taking photos at Boho, and then they took us to most remote beautiful beach where the caves took our breath away! We then went to Land’s End for the famous landmark and along the coastline with the most amazing backdrop whilst the sun was setting. When we got back to our gorgeous apartment, we enjoyed endless champagne with a hamper by Charlie from White Radish which was the perfect ending to our day!
My tip to any couple wanting to elope and have a day where it is all about them… do it! It really was the best day of our lives and will cherish every moment! We will be forever grateful to all of those who made everything so perfect on our special day.
