Eloping to Cornwall
We care so deeply about our family and friends and if money and difficult family relationships weren’t a factor then we probably would have had a bigger wedding. We are also huge people pleasers and knew that if we did have a big wedding we would get lost amongst it all and really didn’t want that. However, it was meant to be this way and it was perfect because those who truly love us and want us to be happy, surrounded us with their love, even though it wasn’t in person.

We would have got married in our sweatshirts and jeans as we've waited so long! What we wore wasn't a huge factor in the day but it did feel special to wear something we wouldn't usually.
Flowers
Babs made Faye and I our very own tailor made purple bouquets and flower crowns, which were beautiful. Babs even included some shells on my bouquet to tie in with our coastal theme. Cornwall is a very magical place, where you are made to feel like it’s your own home from the day you arrive. This helped us to feel so at ease on our big day.
Advice for other Couples
It definitely was the best decision for us to elope to Cornwall and eased some of the stress associated with arranging a bigger wedding. You can really make the day yours and savour each moment.

For me choosing our elopement photographer uk was the most important aspect of our wedding planning. As a keen and very amateur photographer myself, you know the type, the one who has to take 10 more shots just in case the first 9 weren’t right, the person that’s always trying to capture each moment to cherish, whilst annoying their loved ones!! When we came across Enchanted Brides & Cornwall Elopements (Jo and Patrick) we were absolutely blown away by their stunning photography, their photos always look so natural and so much fun! It was really good to follow Enchanted Brides on social media, as we felt like we knew Jo and Patrick before we even met them! We knew they were the ones for us and we are so incredibly lucky to have met two beautiful human beings! They captured our special day in the most magical way and we can’t thank them enough. Jo and Patrick really made us all feel so at ease with being in front of the camera and we’re so kind with our daughter Faye.

It’s too hard to pick a favourite, but saying our own vows to one another was definitely a highlight, as well as Faye being able to be one of our witnesses. Another highlight was when Faye made a comment about all the kissing that Mummy and Daddy did, saying that “Daddy was in the zone, the sexy zone!!!”

It was amazing to elope to Frieda & The Moon. The perfect Wedding Venue for our special day in south Cornwall. We loved every minute there. the catering was amazing even the big cake for the kids and the amazing wedding hamper. our couple shooting on the beach was amazing. our wedding day was just perfect.
