Hi there. We are Jo & Patrick

Wedding Photographers from Cornwall

Jo is originally from South Africa & Ireland and Patrick is from Germany and somehow we have both ended up living at the bottom of England in Cornwall in the beautiful seaside village of Porthleven. We met on a Cornish cliff during a wedding shoot and can still be found hanging out most days on the cliffs photographing adventure wedding couples, hiking, wild camping, travelling and chasing milky way’s, sunsets, sunrises and storms together. Finally we celebrated our own elopement in our favourite stone circle in Cornwall in a storm and under the watching moon.

After having a meeting with Mike and him getting to know us a little we really didn’t know what to expect, but the beautiful and personal ceremony he performed was more than we could ever wished for. Throughout our sunrise ceremony it was all the little details that made everything feel even more special. From the beautiful beach picnic, to the bubbles which Jo and Patrick brought along for our son. Allowing us to have a few family members meant the world us. Jo, Patrick and Mike made our morning nothing short of perfect and we would do it all over again with them in a heartbeat!

After deciding to elope, we stumbled upon Jo and Patrick’s photos—and we instantly knew they were the perfect choice to capture our day. Their service went far beyond photography; they took care of every detail, organising the entire elopement and allowing us to fully enjoy the experience from start to finish, free of stress.

Their deep knowledge of Cornwall’s hidden spots, weather patterns, tides, and timing helped us find the ideal location and conditions for our special day. Their flexibility was invaluable in making everything perfect.

In the weeks leading up, Jo and Patrick stayed in touch, keeping us relaxed and reassured that everything was on track. When the day finally arrived, we had the best time. Even though we’re not naturally comfortable in front of a camera, Jo and Patrick’s warmth and approach instantly put us at ease.
