Wedding Photographer Cornwall

    I love adventure.

And there's no better adventure than yours. The intimacy between you, that raw romance. Witnessing the secrecy and mystery of your elopement and capturing that connection, the emotion in each moment, this is the essence of Enchanted Brides.

I paint pictures of depth and drama. Reflecting the unstaged sentiment paired with the elemental beauty of nature, creating a tapestry of truths that is heartfelt and authentic.

My style is organic, mystical, creative and artful, perfect for intimate elopements, hand-fastenings, barefoot brides or simply for free spirits who feel their souls stirring.

Follow your instinct, she knows the way...

Wedding Photographer in Cornwall / Wedding Photographer in Devon specialising in honest and natural photography.

I was recently named Top 50 UK Wedding Photographer in 2017 and 2018.

I have been published in many online blogs such as Rock My Wedding, Rock n Roll Bride, Green Wedding Shoes as well as getting some front covers on Wed Magazine.

Last year I spoke at a wedding conference in Ireland infront of 250 people. FACT: I am more afraid of public speaking than I am of dying.

Destination Weddings and Destination Elopements are something I adore, so please get in touch if you are planning a wedding in Iceland, France, or further afield. Please check out my 2019 travel dates below.

I also cover Destination Elopements in Cornwall with international couples, working closely with couples from outside of the UK coming to Devon or Cornwall to elope. In 2018 I had a couple from China and another from South Africa elope to Cornwall and a couple from the US elope to Devon. I love getting involved with the planning stages and happy to help with recommending local suppliers if you are not from the area. Lots of Elopement Packages UK

I love to travel, I was born in South Africa and lived in Durban, Cape Town and then J.Bay. I then moved to Ireland and moved all over Ireland from Dunmanway, Bantry to Clonakilty. Then moving over to Gloucester before finally settling in Cornwall around 8 years ago where I came to do my degree as a mature student in Marine and Natural History Photography and Filmmaking. I was lucky enough to get a First Class degree, giving birth in the same month I graduated. That is dedication!

I now have 4 children, 3 of those being cats. One son called Keynvor, 2 rescue cats called Luna and Zaccy and a recent addition a Maine Coon called Kalypso.

It is my dream to one day live in a treehouse that I have built myself. I recently started a carpentry course to help make this dream a reality. I have an obsession with hanging plants and avo's. In my spare time I love to make pottery and have a growing collection of bowls, cups, plates and weird cat figures. You may be lucky enough to get one of my creations in your final wedding package!

I love to read, hate watching TV but can binge on Netflix and be found watching true crime or some thriller. I love sharks. So much so I spent time volunteering with Great Whites.

I love wild swimming and could easily swim daily in the sea if I lived in warmer climates. My hair does not thank me for this though. Im afraid of hair dressers and tend to get my hair cut once a year if I really have to, so it looks quite wild and windswept. I promise I brush it and look normal at weddings.

I could happily live in my pjs and spend my days barefoot.

So if I sound like someone who floats your boat and you are looking for a Cornwall Wedding Photographer/ Devon wedding photographer/ Destination Wedding Photographer I would love to hear from you and chat over a coffee/gin or Skype.

    Please check out my Portfolio!

    Peace! Jo
